We stayed in Villa Serenidad from December 24th to 30th. We are a family of 10, consisting of 2 seniors, 1 infant, 3 teens and 4 adults. This house had more than enough space for us and the listing is quite accurate. We loved the fact that this house was at the end of a quiet street overlooking the valley and the wraparound windows allowed you to look out at the neighbouring cows, donkeys and wake up to such beautiful sounds of nature.

This house came well equipped with all the comforts of home and no need for a.c. because of the wrap around sliding doors and the beautiful climate of Atenas.

Atenas truly is the beast climate on earth. Not too hot, not too cold. And the beautiful pool was a perfect way to cool off. It’s location was only a 5 min drive to the town of Atenas where the people were super friendly. Arenas is a very safe and family oriented town where you will feel right at home.

Lastly, the owner Jeff and property manager, Eunice, were amazing. They answered all my questions before and during our trip. We were arriving Christmas eve after all the local restaurants would have been open to serve us dinner and stores would have already been closed because of the holiday. But Eunice coordinated ordering dinner from a local restaurant and picking up a few groceries to get us started. It was all waiting at the house when we arrived late that first night and we had a lovely Christmas eve meal because of her. They truly care about making sure the guests here are comfortable. Jeff provided such a thorough welcome package, which me and my husband found so helpful. Nothing came to us as a surprise and we would definitely come back to Villa Serenidad again!
