I don’t even know where to begin with reviewing this property. Five stars are the most I can give it so that is what I went with. My family of six went and stayed 9 days and had plenty of space amd adventure and were in awe the entire time of the beauty of the home and property. Half of the house is literally made a floor-to-ceiling glass walls with the most amazing view of the countryside you could imagine. It looks out over the mountains whether you are a 5:30 AM watcher of the sunrise with your Costa Rican coffee from a local plantation – or prefer to enjoy a beverage in the perfect evening weather watching the big dipper and shooting stars right from the patio and all the glittering lights on the mountain- if you are deciding between houses, stop now and rent this one. The town of Atenas is a short cab ride away with a beautiful Central Park a little ice cream shops, grocery and beautiful Catholic Church. On Friday mornings they have the most amazing farmers market ever.

We were recommended to hire Oscar, a local Tico with a van. He was amazing! Basically we had our own tour guide for the entire week. He knew all of the best restaurants best deals and best ways to get anywhere. He was flexible and kind and his prices were wonderful. I completely trusted him and we were driving my four kids around with us the entire week. I would completely recommend him to anyone as well. Eunice Who is the woman in town to watch over the property was extremely receptive when I had a question. I know traveling out of your normal comfort zone can be difficult but with the people in place at this property there’s no way you will not feel safe and taking care of the entire time.

My children named the neighbors donkeys and cows and had the best times ever going down there to make friends and pet them. It was so so great.

All of the amenities you could want are in the house. Pots and pans, a juicer, blender… Dishwasher, washing machine… Plenty of towels. You literally will feel completely at home!

Jeff the home owner was gracious and kind with any of my questions as we are planning the trip and checked in while we were staying there. I very much appreciated all of their help.

Bottom line? GO. Come here. Leave the stress at home because it’s impossible to follow you there!
